FCL (Full Container Load)
FCL shipping involves transporting your cargo through one or more containers that you use exclusively. Only your cargo will be in the container, ensuring it will not be disturbed until you open the container yourself. This is the most economical option when you have cargo that can fill the container or nearly fill it.MOOV offers different types of FCL equipment (GP or HC): 20/40/45/48/53GP
LCL(Less Than Container Load)
When you don’t have enough cargo to fill a container, we coordinate space sharing within the container. This service is available at most major ports in China towards major ports in Europe and NA (and vice versa). The Calculation Method of Ocean Freight
FCL shipping cost calculation
FCL shipping fee = basic shipping fee + shipping surcharge. Among them: “basic shipping fee” is formulated by the shipping company and will not change within a certain period of time. The “shipping surcharge” is divided into: fuel surcharge, port congestion surcharge, etc. Usually the price quoted by the freight forwarding company is the sum of the above two costs.
LCL shipping cost calculation
LCL shipping fee = whichever is greater according to volume and weight
1. Calculated by volume = basic freight per unit × total volume (unit of measure: CBM – cubic number) (The minimum charge for LCL is 1CBM, which means that if your goods are less than 1CBM and they will be charged by 1CBM)
2. Calculated by weight = basic freight per unit × total gross weight (unit of measure: TON – ton) (minimum charge for LCL is 1TON, that is, if your goods are less than 1TON, you have to charge 1TON)
Factors Affecting sea freight
Every shipping quote includes all the necessary costs to ship your products so they can reach their destination safely. . The main factors that affect the price of sea freight are as follows: container size/transit times/type of cargo/the weight of the cargo/the size of the goods/incoterms.In addition to this, there are other secondary factors that are normally not calculated in the ocean freight rate, but are closely associated to it. Some of these secondary factors include: insurance/pickup and delivery at ports and warehouses/customs clearance/handling charges at terminals

After receiving the confirmation of booking from the carrier, MOOV will issue the bill of lading and the waybill as the carrier; organize the entire transportation of the goods, formulate the transportation plan and organize the implementation; accept the goods according to the shipper’s instructions, and act as an agent for booking, customs declaration, inspection, tally, Warehousing and outbound services; after the goods arrive at the port of destination We will deliver the goods to the consignee according to the instructions of the consignor, and act as an agent for customs clearance, sorting and distribution at the port of destination.

The cost of air freight depends on the volumetric weight of the item you are shipping and the carrier and airline you use. There are two ways to calculate air freight.
4.1 The Volumetric Weight
Sometimes lighter-weight items take up more space than smaller, heavier items, and dimensional weight is calculated using a formula that divides the dimensions of the item (LxWxH) by the dimensional weight factor.
4.2 The Chargeable Weight
The cost per kilogram times the weight of the cargo.
Chargeable weight is gross weight (including goods, packages and pallets) or bulk weight, whichever is greater.

Rail freight is 5-10 days shorter than maritime and cheaper than air. Train freight is a good choice for commodities that do not have a high request on temperature. For instance, if you have many quantities of seasonal goods, our rail option will be your best choice. MOOV could help you reduce costs and catch your consumer on time.
The train is the middle option and is best for mid-value products (e.g., electronics, machinery, chemicals, etc.) and large amounts of seasonal items that need to catch the season and trend (e.g., Christmas items). Low-value goods will prefer the ocean (e.g., plastic products) or commodities that are sensitive to temperature change. Those that are very expensive (e.g., smartphones) will choose air.
Yes, MOOV approves all cargo before accepting orders. All categories of dangerous goods are forbidden; for others, the Chinese commodity name and the 8-digit HS code are required. Furthermore, for non-hazardous chemicals, a special rail-appraisal report must be made for the goods from the side of the consigner. Non-hazardous chemical products have to submit all documents for transportation. In this case, MOOV provides full support to our clients.
For all goods after the Chinese commodity and 8-digit HS code are provided, the rail platform will accept the goods or request further documents that will be needed for the transport (e.g., veterinary certificate/ health certificate/ etc.)
The transit time on rail is standardly around 20 days from the origin terminal to the destination terminal for eastbound (EU-CN) and vice versa.MOOV considers your transit time also your rail freight charge, which will balance to suggest the most suitable route.
Congestion at the border crossing– During peak seasons, the capacity of trains is fully reached as companies want to send enough cargo to satisfy demand. The capacity for departing trains from China is unlimited due to the many terminals. However, there are a limited number of border points to process these trains during the journey. These border points can only handle a fixed number of trains per day. More trains per day arrive at the border points in peak seasons compared to how many can be processed, leading to a bottleneck and congestion.
Congestion at the rail origin terminals – When the border points become too heavily congested, which leads to slower and more difficult terminal operations, the origin terminals sometimes have to delay departures or even cancel them for a certain period.
Congestion at the rail destination terminal – When there is significant traffic of trains, leading to the congested origin and border point terminals, the arrival terminals also experience difficulties. Arriving containers that should generally be available for pickup within 1-2 days can take 3-4 days to be released.
Significant other events – Sometimes congestion can form due to significant external events, besides regular peak seasons (April – June, half-year, October, Christmas, and the end of the year). They can create congestion when there isn’t one or significantly worsen existing congestion. Some examples of such events are the ever-given Suez Canal incident, Malaszewice (border point) container accident; Benelux and west Germany floods; etc.
The most popular and long-standing terminals for the China-Europe block trains are: Chongqing, Xian, Wuhan, and Yiwu..MOOV Logistics has the best relations with Yiwu and Xian rail terminals,and also has good contacts with Chongqing, Hefei, and Wuhan.
Normally, the CN-EU block trains stop one time during the journey. But the destination in EU can be negotiated case by case with MOOV if there is a larger amount of containers. MOOV has formed in Poland and Germany as the center of the CN-EU block trains, radiating the whole EU.

Tailwind Shipping Lines was founded in 2022, as a subsidiary of Lidl. By using smaller cargo ships that can transport up to 5,000 TEU, the carrier can call at less busy ports near major trading hubs, which facilitates short turnaround times without delays. For Tailwind customers, this means short and reliable transit times for their goods.
The service routes of Tailwind are fixed, but in special circumstances, adjustments will be made according to the actual situation. For example, due to the recent Red Sea incident, the route was adjusted to allow for transit from Colombo through to the Indian Ocean, around the tip of Africa to Barcelona.
